The latest celebrity additions to the steamy sweaty gritty April 26 MTV Australia Awards have now been announced, and include New Zealand's hottest export Scribe; UK sensation Leona Lewis; Delta's squeeze and onetime Westlife member Brian McFadden (hot off the release of last month's smash album "Set In Stone"); and recent Cleo Bachelor of the Year and former MTV VJ Jason Dundas. What a line-up!
What's more, famed rapper Dizzee Rascal will touch down in Australia after boarding in Auckland for the now-famous MTV New Zealand Mile High Gig, which will see him rocking the skies at 37,000 feet on a crankin' Air New Zealand flight like no other! Dizzee will then join the MTV Australia Awards alongside the oilslick sparkle of other confirmed performers, including Wyclef Jean, 50 Cent, Juliette Lewis, Eve, Kisschasy, the Vines, the Potbelleez and Lyndsey Rodrigues.
Dizzee Rascal recently released a critically acclaimed album "Maths and English", and has the honour of being the first rapper to ever be awarded a Mercury Prize. In the lead-up to the Awards, he'll also be starring in MTV online's exclusive pre-Awards doco "The Diary Of" where you'll get to see a day in the life of Dizzee as he prepares for the season's most cranking Awards ceremony ever.
So lube up, switch on and tune in to the MTV Australia Awards they'll be spiking your celeb culture cocktail on 26th April, and it'll be tasty.
