Aussie stunner Lyndsey Rodrigues, who only recently skipped across the world for a dream job permanently hosting the US MTV show Total Request Live (TRL), is returning to Oz to present at the world premiere MTV Australia Awards 2008.
It'll be her first trip home since relocating to the US to pursue the role formerly held by Nick Lachey's girlfriend, Vanessa Minnillo.
Lyndsey will star as a guest and presenter at the event, which promises to rock Australia at its core, and deliver the kind of wild performances and brilliant accolades unseen in Oz to date.
"I am so excited to come home and be a part of the world first version of the MTV Australia Awards," said Lyndsey. "Attending this year's awards as a presenter is going to be so surreal - I'll probably have to fight the urge to start interviewing people backstage!"
Meanwhile MTV Australia and New Zealand Managing Director Dave Sibley has been threatening to steal her passport "to make her stay a little longer" !
Lyndsey has recently shared the stage with Kate Hudson, Foo Fighters, Chris Brown, Maroon 5, Fergie, Natasha Beddingfield, Stereophonics, Good Charlotte, Jennifer Aniston and Will Smith, and these Awards are set to be no different.
