MTV Australia Awards Announce First Hot Acts!

The MTV Australia Awards are going to be like none other, and it figures that the talent coming over is going to be just as awesome. Be prepared to be blown away!

Yesterday, MTV announced the first sexy acts confirmed to be a part of the ceremony held on 26 April this year. First off the rack are Juliette Lewis and the Licks, and hot US rapper Eve. Both acts promise not only musical kudos, but also wild, gritty performances.

Eve, a grammy-award winning rap artist, has not only found her niche in music since hitting the international stage in 1999, but has also starred in a number of critically acclaimed films, including "XXX" with Vin Diesel, and "Barbershop" with Ice Cube. She has a hot new album "Here I Am" promised to hit shelves in late 2008.

Juliette Lewis is a cult actress who has starred in over 40 films and was nominated for an Academy Award for the film "Cape Fear". If that wasn't enough, she's also turned her hand to creating pure thumping rock in recent times, thrilling even Rolling Stone Magazine with her raw energy in the band "Juliette Lewis And The Licks".

Don't forget, you can also mingle with the stars this April by winning your very own MTV Australia Award - find out more info by clicking here.

So get ready for the greatest thing this decade... it's just the beginning.
